In spite of the huge fire that is ravaging the Gila National Forest, the Birthday Bash is still scheduled to happen June 9th in Glenwood. To date, Glenwood itself has been spared although the fire is clearly visible on the mountain slopes just east of town. The citizens of Glenwood and Catron County need our support now more than ever. The purpose of the Birthday Bash (raising $$$ for NMOHVA's Access Defense Fund to fight Gila route closures) has never been more urgent or important.
